U.S. President Trump Doesn’t Want to do Business With Huawei

Those who have been staying updated with the latest tech and gadget news will know about the ongoing trade war between the US and Huawei. In case, if you don’t know, let me tell you that it all started a few months ago when the Trump administration included the Chinese company Huawei under the dreaded entity list. The previous month, Donald Trump had reversed the ban on the Chinese company, allowing US companies to do business with Huawei. However, the ban is not entirely removed yet because it’s still in its grace period. So, US Companies need to apply for a special license to work with Huawei during the trade ban. Just when things look to settle down, President Donald Trump said Sunday he doesn’t want to do business with Huawei even as his administration weighs whether to extend the grace period for the company. Donald Trump told reporters on Sunday as he boarded Air Force One in New Jersey “At this moment it looks much more like we’re not going to do business.” “I don’t want to do business at all because it is a national security threat and I really believe that the media has covered it a little bit differently than that” he added. You can watch the video of the Washington Post from here. According to the reports from Reuters, the Commerce Department was right now preparing to extend the license for 90 days which will allow Huawei to continue business with US Companies to service existing users. The current agreement is valid until Monday. So, what do you think about this? Share your views with us in the comment box below.
