According to a Piper Jaffray survey of American teenagers with an average age of 16 years, 82% of respondents prefer the iPhone over Android. This is the highest percentage in the history of the surveys conducted by this company, which makes it very clear that the tech giant Apple’s popularity with the iPhone is almost overwhelming. But the thing is not there, because this popularity seems that it will increase more, given that among these respondents have assured that 84% of them will buy another iPhone as their next phone. The explanation given for these results is that many of these teenagers are planning to buy an Apple smartwatch, and for this, they need to have an iPhone beforehand. However, 20% of respondents plan to buy an Apple Watch in the next six months. Piper Jaffray analysts believe that when the tech giant Apple will launch its three new iPhone later this year, the popularity will continue to grow given that although it is true that one of these phones could exceed $1100, would also be launched another cheaper that will be within reach of all these teenagers.

As can be seen in the graph that accompanies the news, in the last four years has increased by more than 20% the owners of an iPhone, which suggests that despite the good supply that exists in the Android territory, American teenagers continue to prefer the brand values offered by Cupertino, of course, the tech giant Apple.
